The Walking-home-from-Tesco rambling to myself thought

Not only are our physical selves commodified, so are our emotions.

This all started when some people and I were hanging around our checkout support desk trying to name all 50 states (we work hard at Tesco). One of the managers came past and told us we weren't being very productive. No shit. Anyway. Productive - Productivity - using the 'workers' to make a profit. And so as my consciousness streamed on I got on to status symbols and so on.

It's ok to want objects. However, you must remember they are only objects. You shouldn't pour your heart and soul in to gaining these objects. Your heart and soul can be used for much more useful things.

It's ok to have objects, it's how you acquire them that is the problem.

Oh, I can't be arsed at the moment. Someone remind me to update this.
